Marlfields Primary School’s core purpose is to strive for excellence in everything we does, both within the school and in the wider community.
Child-centred
Being a small school, in the heart of Congleton town, we place a strong emphasis on getting to know and understand the needs of each individual child. Our school motto is ‘Where Children Come First’, which encompasses the values of our dedicated members of staff. Our staff know each child, whether they teach them or not, and strive to put children at the heart of all they do.
Values individuality
We are an inclusive school, and we recognise the uniqueness of each child, encouraging them to be happy, confident learners. We have created in-house leadership roles for our children, which celebrate their unique skills and talents. Through these roles, we are able to value the children’s voice, while allowing them to contribute positively to our school. We place a great emphasis on encouraging children to be proud of who they are to enable them to thrive throughout school and within their lives beyond Marlfields.

Our structured curriculum ensures that children learn the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding whilst also giving them a multitude of opportunities to flourish intellectually, creatively and physically.
