The school day begins at 8:50am, when children are welcomed straight into their classrooms. There is a member of school staff available on each door, to greet our children with a warm welcome and to be available to pass on any messages to the class teacher. The children will start the morning with their SODA task (Start Of Day Activity) — a calm, purposeful job that helps them settle. The total time in the teaching week is 32.5hours.
Each day includes a whole‑school or class assembly, where children come together to learn about important events, explore shared values, practise singing and celebrate one another’s achievements.
During playtimes and lunchtime, our trained staff support and encourage positive, active play. The playground is divided into a variety of play zones, offering different activities and spaces. Children are free to choose where they would like to spend their time — whether that’s in ‘theatre land’, ‘football zone’ or ‘zoom city’.
The school day finishes at 3:20pm.
