Hello, welcome to Year 6! I am very excited about teaching Year 6 and all of the fun that it brings. We will be working in a positive environment and learning to be respectful role models to the rest of the school. In Year 6, we believe in growth mindset and that we can be the best that we can be!
Spellings will be sent home every Monday and tested on Friday. These words link to our phonics and spelling patterns in class, helping children become confident, accurate writers.
At least four times a week to help build fluency and confidence, ensuring an adult writes this in their child’s reading diary.
